Center for Blue Democracy Rivendell Model

Rivendell Model

The Rivendell Model is a set of rules and procedures for citizens’ assemblies. Despite being designed for the town of elves at the foothills of the Misty Mountains, it can serve as a model for any city or country around the world. At the heart of the model is a governance structure involving a Coordinating Team, a Monitoring Team and the procedure of arbitration.  Inside, you will also find information about assembly members rights, recruitment of stakeholders, work on recommendations, final voting method and more.
